The university’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the time was sentenced to prison.
President Austin Lane (2020): TSU’s president at the time was forced out after a scandal involving the law school. Allegations of bribery and kickbacks surfaced, where officials admitted unqualified students and improperly gave them over $430,000 in scholarships.
