This is the story of a young woman, Doctor V., a medical school student, who was part of an online social group called the Fleek Girlz. They started focusing on two content creators in the community named DeeJay and Kadie O. Virtually, their relationship was building and in real life, it was budding. The Fleek Girlz didn’t like Kadie O. They felt she set up a famous influencer in the city to be killed. She was outspoken, liked, and confident, and for some reason, this rubbed them the wrong way.
One day, the Fleek Girlz concocted a plot to send Doctor V. chat on the back end and eventually seduce DeeJay. Doctor V. called DeeJay at work letting him know she was on the way to see family and his city is along the way so she could make a pitstop. Doctor V. drove three hours away to pickup DeeJay from work and get directions to an abandoned apartment. There, they made love in a bando. Doctor V. even recorded herself with him to send to the leader of the Fleek Girlz, MissNunnChin. The goal? To film it and put it online just to upset Kadie O. It wasn’t about love, attraction, or even friendship. It was about revenge and pettiness.
Doctor V. felt powerful doing this making constant public statements to Kadie O saying “You will always be sloppy seconds, Kadie! I had him first!” Maybe she thought it would earn her respect or make her seem bold. So she made the trip, met the man, and did exactly what was planned. The video was posted online. People saw it. Kadie found out. The community buzzed with gossip.
But the plan didn’t go the way the group exp began to mock her. Comments poured in calling Doctor V. “desperate,” “thirsty,” and “whorish.” Some said she had no self-respect. Others said she was being used and didn’t even realize it. Even people outside the group thought the whole thing was wrong and sad.
In the end, Kadie O. wasn’t the one embarrassed. Doctor V., the one who made the trip became the joke. She had gone out of her way to ruin someone else’s relationship but ended up damaging her own image instead.
